1st January Inshore Lifeboat launched at 0426 to a vulnerable person threatening to jump from the Swale Crossing at Kingsferry, ILB arrived on scene and stood by, whilst police negotiated with the person. The person eventually left the bridge with police. ILB returned to station at 0535. wind WSW F3.
6th January Inshore lifeboat launched at 2027 to person threatening to jump from Rochester bridge, the ILB reached as far as Kingsnorth before being recalled, person safe in Police custody. ILB returned to station at 2123. wind WSW F3/4.
12th January

Inshore lifeboat launched at 1424 to windsurfer in difficulties off Shingle bank, Minster, ILB arrived on scene with casualty approx quarter of a mile offshore, casualty taken onboard ILB and brought ashore to CG, who requested ambulance as casualty hypothermic. ILB recovered board and rig and returned to station at 1536.

21st January All Weather Lifeboat launched at 1145 to Angling vessel which was experiencing difficulty in towing a small 17ft yacht off Warden point. ALB arrived on scene at 1211, casualty approx 2 NM ENE of Warden point, no persons on yacht, ALB secured a tow on yacht and taken in tow at 1225, proceeding towards Sheerness. The craft was secured in Sheerness, the Angling boat making it's own way to Hoo. ALB ready for service at 1435. wind WNW F5/6.
30th January Inshore lifeboat launched at 2110 to vulnerable person threatening to jump from Rochester bridge. ILB stood off, whilst Police negotiated with the person, who gave himself up to police. ILB returned to station at 2325. wind Northerly F2.
5th February All Weather lifeboat launched at 0025 to 34ft Yacht broken down and drifting near knock John tower, 2 persons onboard, ALB on scene at  0128, casualty located SW of East Barrow bank, some 19 miles from station. Tow established and the casualty towed back to Queenborough hbr, where it was secured.
