Maritime & Coastguard Agency
This Agency is responsible throughout the UK for implementing the Government's maritime safety policy. That includes co-ordinating search and rescue at sea through Her Majesty's Coastguard, and checking that ships meet UK and international safety rules. We work to prevent the loss of lives at the coast and at sea, to ensure that ships are safe, and to prevent coastal pollution Safer Lives, Safer Ships, Cleaner Seas .

Port of London
The Port of London, the Great British Port, for cargo shipping, port services, vessel navigation, maritime safety and leisure pursuits on the River Thames.

UK National body for all boating including disabled sailing oversees Yachtmaster windsurfing cruising motorboat dinghy and PWC training courses

Medway Navigation Service Information Resources 
All information concerning the movement of ships within the Port area is conducted through the Medway Navigation Service (MNS) - call sign 'Medway Radio' - located at Garrison Point, Sheerness.

The service provides tidal data for over 6000 ports worldwide together with a host of other useful information . 

International Maritime Organization

It has always been recognized that the best way of improving safety at sea is by developing international regulations that are followed by all shipping nations and from the mid-19th century onwards a number of such treaties were adopted. 

RNLI Lifeboat Enthusiasts Society
The Lifeboat Enthusiasts' Society brings together those with a keen interest in lifeboats and the Lifeboat Service, it exists to provide an interchange of information between members on the many different aspects of lifeboats, past, present and in the future.

R.N.L.I Lifeboat Stations U.K
