3.01.2005 (Zone 2, P2)	ILB launched to capsized sailing dinghy with 2 persons in the water, 1 mile from station, upon arrival, the casualty had been righted and underway for the shore, under the watchful eye of the ILB. 1457 - 1525. Wstly 4/5.

8.01.2005 (Zone 3, F6)	ILB Launched to report of person possibly in the water off Strood, 11 miles from station, after red flashing light was seen mid river, ILB carried out search and located light amid rubbish. 2335 - 0138. Wstly 4/5.
13.01.2005 (Zone 3, F10)	ALB & ILB launched to Charter Passenger vessel on fire off approaches to Chatham with 2 persons onboard, 8 miles from station, casualty managed to berth alongside where fire was tackled by Fire service and tug, ALB 1246 - 1501; ILB 1246 - 1625. Wstly 3.

26.01.2005 (Zone 1, I 22)	ALB launched to carry out D/F and radar search following EPIRB signal on 121.5 in area of Sea Reach channel, 4 miles from station, carried out search of area, nothing untoward found. 2220 - 0044.NW 3.

12.02.2005 (Zone 4, B6)	ILB launched to 18ft Speedboat with two persons onboard, broken down 1 mile off Minster, casualty located and towed to the safety of Sheerness Docks. 0138 - 0307. SW 4/5.

12.02.2005 (Zone 3, G13)	ILB launched to inflatable dinghy with one occupant thought to be in trouble off Sharps Green, 5 miles from station, River Medway, ILB recalled, casualty made shore safely. 1334 - 1402. NW 7/8.

13.02.2005 (Zone 3, A18)	ILB launched to report of children cut off by tide on saltings off Coalmouth Creek, Rvr Medway, 4 miles from station, ILB carried out search, located two wildfowlers and a dog, nothing else visual, ILB assisted the wildfowlers and dog ashore. 1643 - 1812. NW 6/7.

21.02.2005 (Zone 3, A24)	ILB launched to crewmember overboard from Car Carrier berthed at Sheerness, 1/2 mile from station, casualty was recovered by persons ashore. 1419 - 1437. Nthly 4/5.

27.02.2005 (Zone 3, F11)	ILB launched to 26ft Angling Boat with 2 persons onboard with fouled propellor off Gillingham Marina, 8 miles from station, ILB freed propellor and assisted craft onto safe mooring. 0258 - 0437. NE 5/6.

11.03.2005 (Zone 3, D13)	ILB launched to report of dinghy drifting off Kingsnorth Jetty, 6 miles from station, Rvr Medway, ILB carried out search with Police RIB, nothing untoward found. 1344 - 1506. NW 6.

26.03.2005 (Zone 3, H5)	ILB launched to assist CG in search for missing female at Rochester, 12 miles from station, River Medway, ILB carried out search from Chatham upriver to Halling Marshes, nothing found. 1437 - 1720. Estly 2. Fog. ( casualty later found safe ashore)

26.03.2005 (Zone 3, C 23)	ILB re-launched to report of 7mtr cruiser aground on Queenborough Spit, 1 1/2 miles from station, ILB located casualty ashore in Fog, all 4 crew safe and happy to remain onboard until craft refloats on next tide. 1725 - 1827. Estly 2. Fog

30.03.2005 ( Zone 3, E13).	ILB and Sheerness Boarding Boat whilst on exercise came upon 36ft Yacht aground just SE of No 22 buoy with 5 persons onboard, 6 miles from station, crew's assisted in placing out anchor and checking that all was well, yacht's crew remaining onboard until rising tide. 1930 - 2115. Estly 2.

4.04.2005 ( Zone 3, D 18 )	ILB launched to 16ft Speedboat with 3 persons onboard, out of fuel and unsure of position. 4 miles from station, After extensive search, casualty was located aground close to Captain's Creek, River Medway, casualty was successfully refloated and towed to Gillingham Strand. 2207 - 0142. NW 3.

10.4.2005 ( Zone 2, I 7)	ALB diverted from exercise to 42ft Yacht "Happy One" with 5 persons onboard, aground and suffered machinery failure, inshore of Blacktail Beacons, 9 miles from station, Southend L/B assisted to refloat casualty, Sheerness ALB towed casualty into safety of Queenborough Hbr.1053 - 1255. NW 3.

21.04.2005 (Zone 1, O 24)	ALB launched to investigate "EPIRB" reported activated in Sheerness area, 2 miles from station, carried out D/F and radar search, nothing found. 2234 - 2355. Estly 2.

27.04.2005 ( Zone 4, A 6)	ILB launched to Sailboarder in trouble off Minster, 2 miles from station, casualty was taken ashore by local club safety boat upon ILB's arrival. 1650 - 1723. Wstly 2, squally.

28.04.2005 ( Zone 4, B 8)	ALB launched to provide Coastguard with illumination of Minster Cliffs, 4 miles from station, where person was stranded on cliff, casualty was recovered by Coastguard. 0020 - 0110. SW 2.

1.05.2005 (Zone2, M 10)	ALB launched to 18ft dayboat unsure of position and suffered broken shaft, 5 miles from station, 3 persons onboard, casualty was located East of Medway Buoy by Port Patrol Craft and ALB took over tow of casualty into Queenborough hbr. 1830 - 2020. SW 2.

2.05.2005 (Zone3, C 23)	ILB launched to 21ft Motor Cruiser aground on Queenborough Spit, 1 1/2 miles from station, 3 persons onboard, craft high and dry, crew happy to remain onboard until next tide, ILB placed out anchor and offered advice. 1203 -1302. SW 1.

8.05.2005 (Zone 4, A 9)	ILB launched to report of 2 capsized sail dinghies off Sheerness, 2 miles from station, 1 craft made shore safely, other craft remained capsized off Medway Channel with Pilot Cutter standing by, ILB took casualty onboard and righted craft and towed craft to local Yacht Club. 1603 - 1715. NW 3.

9.05.2005 (Zone3, H 19)	ILB launched to overdue 26ft yacht with elderly gentleman onboard, on passage from local yacht club to gillingham, 4 miles from station, ILB carried out search of river along with CG and rescue helicopter, ILB returned to station to refuel and change crew before re-launching to continue search, casualty was eventually located at anchor in halstow creek, gentleman declined any assistance and declined to come ashore. 1940 - 0029. NE 3.

10.05.2005 (Zone 3,H19 & D 13)	ILB launched to check on welfare of elderly gentleman onboard yacht from previous night,4 miles from station, ILB assisted to refloat craft and when in deep water, craft proceeded under own power with ILB escorting. As ILB passed Kingsnorth Jetty, they were called to an injured jetskier with suspected broken ankle, casualty was assisted into Training RIB and escorted to Gillingham marina, where he was landed to ambulance, yacht was secured in marina. 1135 - 1521. Nthly 2.

20.05.2005 (Zone 3,E 8)	ILB launched to report of two persons in the water off Upnor Castle, 10 miles from station, both persons wearing lifejackets, ILB recalled at 1131, persons were recovered by local workboat. 1115 - 1217. SW 4.

21.05.2005 (Zone 3, H 7)	ILB and ALB launched to person reported missing from Sun Pier, Chatham, 11 miles from station, both lifeboats carried out search of River, nothing found. ILB 2200 - 0121. ALB 2220 - 0121. SW 3/4.

27.05.2005 (Zone 4, C 13)	ILB launched to female casualty trapped in mud at base of cliff's at Warden Point, 4 miles from station, ILB assisted to free the casualty and her dog from the mud and landed them ashore at Warden bay to local CG. 1204 - 1356. Sthly 3.

28.05.2005 (Zone 2, H10)	ALB launched to 7mtr yacht with 2 persons onboard, meeting adverse conditions NE of Medway Buoy, 6 miles from station, craft under sail alone, no engine, casualty located N of N.Oaze buoy, casualty towed in safely to Queenborough Hbr. 0901 - 1117. SW 7/8.

28.5.2005 (Zone 1, I 19)	ALB diverted to 36ft Yacht with propellor fouled by sail, 3 persons onboard, 4 miles from station, Southend Lifeboat had tow on craft & holding into wind, ALB took over tow & casualty towed into the safety of Queenborough hbr. 1119 - 1352. SW 7/8.

28.05.2005 (Zone 2, P7)	ILB launched to 24ft Motorboat broken down off Cheyney Spit, 2 miles from station, with 2 persons onboard, casualty towed to safety of Queenborough Hbr by ILB. 0901 - 1042. SW 7.

28.05.2005 (Zone 3, A24)	ILB diverted to 18ft Yacht with 2 persons onboard, making no headway against wind and the tide and in danger of being swept under the berths at Sheerness Docks, 1/2 mile from station, ILB assisted the yacht into the safety of Sheerness Lower camber. 1045 - 1230. SW 7.

28.05.2005 (Zone 3, E16)	ILB launched to 40ft motor Sailer with 2 persons onboard, 6 miles from station, craft lost propulsion and was swept on to Bishop Ooze mudbank, casualty managed to regain power and proceeded to chatham. 1445 - 1521. SW 6/7.

28.05.2005 (Zone 3, H4)	ILB crew paged for launch to report of Red Flares at Rochester, 12 miles from station, but stood down, flares orignated inland. 1625 - 1645. SW 6.

28.05.2005 (Zone 4, A5)	ILB launched to 14ft Open Boat broke down and drifting off Sheerness,3 miles from station, 3 persons onboard, very cold and wet, casualty located and towed into the Lower Camber. 1741 - 1920.SW 6.

29.05.2005 (Zone 2, O16)	ALB launched to 27ft Yacht aground on Spile Sands with 2 persons onboard, 9 miles from station, ALB with the assistance of Whitstable lifeboat safely refloated the yacht, who proceeded on it's passage to Harty. 1100 - 1300. Estly 2.

29.05.2005 (Zone 3, H7)	ILB and ALB both launched to report of person seen to have jumped into the River at Chatham, 11 miles from station, Rescue helicopter also proceeding, all units stood down when it was confirmed that no person in the water. 2351 - 0053. Sthly 2.

30.05.2005 (Zone 3, H5)	ILB launched to report of person(s) shouting for help off bank at Rochester, 15 miles from station, ILB carried out thorough search of river around marinas and reed banks upstream of Motorway bridge, nothing found. 0443 - 0730. Sthly 2.

6.06.2005 (Zone 2, I15)	ALB launched to 15mtr cruiser with 3 persons onboard, reported to be making water and lost one of his engines, 6 miles from station, casualty located NE of Medway Buoy & 2 crew & pump transferred, casualty was taken in tow, ingress of water stopped and craft pumped out, casualty secured in Queenborough Hbr. 1828 - 2117. NE 4.

10.06.2005 (Zone 2, O2)	ILB launched to 26ft Yacht with fouled propellor, 7 cables NNE of Garrison Point, 2 persons onboard, casualty was towed to mooring in Queenborough hbr, where ILB crew freed the yachts propellor. 1936 - 2106. Estly 4.

22.06.2005 (Zone 4, A4)	ILB launched to 3 youths drifting out to sea on inflatable dinghy, 1 mile from station, ILB recovered casualties and landed them ashore to CG. 1845 - 1941. Sthly 2.

22.06.2005 (Zone 4, D 13)	ILB and ALB both diverted from exercise to report of two children drifting out sea on rubber ring off Warden Point, 5 miles from station, search carried out , nothing found, children found safe and well on beach. 2108 - 2245. Sthly 2.
23.06.2005 (Zone 4, A5)	ILB launched to two youths drifting out to sea on rubber ring off Sheerness, 2 miles from station, ILB arrived on scene to find both youths walking ashore, ILB crew escorted them to the beach. 1955 - 2058. Sthly 2.

24.06.2005 (Zone 3,F 12)	ALB launched to 26ft motorboat broken down and unsure of pos'n in Rvr Medway, 7 miles from station, 3 persons onboard, casualty was located in Pinup Reach and towed to Gillingham marina. 0350 - 0528. NE 1.

24.06.2005 (Zone 4, B 7)	ALB launched to 38ft Motorboat broken down with 5 persons onboard and dragging it's anchor approx half a mile off Minster, 3 miles from station, casualty located and towed into Queenborough Hbr. 1429 - 1610. NW 5/6.
25.06.2005 (Zone 2, M 12)	ALB launched to 26ft Yacht with engine failure entrance to Medway channel, 4 miles from station, 2 persons onboard, ALB arrived on scene to find yacht under sail, the casualty was towed into the Rvr Medway, where it proceeded under sail back to it's moorings. 0652 - 0820. Nthly 1.

26.06.2005 (Zone 2, N 23)	ALB launched to 34ft motorboat broken down with fuel problems 1 mile South East of the Red Sand Towers with 6 persons onboard, 10 miles from station, casualty taken in tow and towed to the entrance of the Ray Gut at Southend, where it was handed over to another vessel. 1248 - 1530. NE 3/4.
