ILB launched to 16ft Dayboat, broken down near No 4 Medway Channel buoy, 2 persons onboard, casualty towed to local yacht club slipway. 1750 - 1908. NE 1/2.

ILB launched to concerned dog owner who might enter the water after his dog, which swam away from beach at Isle of Grain, ILB arrived on scene to find owner & dog safe ashore. 1521 - 1538. Sthly 1/2.

ILB launched to report of person threatening to jump from new Sheppey crossing, River Swale, ILB stood by, whilst Police talked person down to safety. 0110 - 0200. NE 2.

ILB launched to carry out search of foreshore from Sheerness to Warden Point for missing elderly person, search joined by CG, Police and Rescue helicopter. Person found safe and well inland. 1318 - 1520. NW 3.

ALB launched to carry out Radio D/F search, following 121.5 "hit" from satellite, ALB proceeded to West Oaze buoy, nothing detected on D/F or from further passes of satellite. 0800 - 0933. SE 3.

ALB launched to evacuate injured person from pontoon at Thamesport Container terminal after falling from ladder, ALB crew assisted Ambulance personnel to stretcher casualty to ALB and then after re-positioning Lifeboat, casualty was lifted to jetty by crane to awaiting Ambulance. 2053 - 2202. ILB launched to report of Person(s) stranded in Queenborough Hbr, ILB established communications with persons stranded on barges and transferred 6 persons back to their Tug. 0124 - 0211. SW 5/6.

ILB launched to 18ft Sail Yacht aground in area of Slayhill Marshes, River Medway with one person onboard, casualty located and ILB stood by until craft refloated, casualty towed clear of marshes and towed to safety of Queenborough hbr. 0115 - 0422. SW 4/5.

ILB launched to carry out search of foreshore between Gillingham & Chatham for missing Person, ILB was recalled, when person found safe and well ashore. 0520 - 0540. Wstly 3/4.

ILB launch requested to broken down speedboat off Minster, ILB stood down before launch. Casualty assisted ashore.

ILB launched to Speedboat,(same as previous call), broken down again off Minster, reported to be 6 persons onboard, ILB arrived on scene to find craft being towed ashore, ILB stood by until ashore and then requested by CG to remain in area, as owner was intent on going out again. ILB was released when owner placed craft on trailer. 1610 - 1736. Wstly 3.

ILB launched to report of craft in trouble off Sheerness seafront, upon investigation, craft was moored and shorelights were reflecting off craft's windows, no one onboard. 2157 - 2225. Estly 1.

ALB launched to evacuate injured seaman with badly broken arm from outward bound Tanker in Sea Reach channel, casualty evacuated and landed ashore to ambulance at Sheerness. 1759 - 1905. Estly 1.

ILB launched to report of small racing Hovercraft in trouble off Kingsnorth Jetty, Rvr Medway, ILB arrived on scene to find one craft had been lifted out of water and 2nd was laying alongside jetty (both had broken down), a 3rd craft had reportedly proceeded to Gillingham Strand but unknown if arrived, ILB proceeded to investigate, craft found safe ashore at Gillingham, ILB returned to Kingsnorth and safely saw the other hovercraft lifted out of water, all persons safe and accounted for. 1613 - 1735. ALB launched to medivac sick person onboard Angling Boat in Medway Channel, rendevouzed with craft, sick person evacuated and landed ashore at Sheerness to Ambulance. 1545 - 1643. Var 2.

ALB launched to 68ft, 38 ton "Classic Yacht"broken down and blown ashore onto sandbank off Shoebury, 3 persons onboard, Rescue Helicopter also proceding, upon Lifeboat's arrival, Rescue 125 standing by overhead, casualty at anchor. ALB managed to close the casualty and secure a towline, casualty was towed into deeper water and after checking for damage, the casualty was towed to the safety of Queenborough Hbr. 1543 - 1853. SW 7/8.

ALB launched to 19ft "Bayliner Sportsboat" broken down and at anchor approx half a mile off Warden Point, 3 persons onboard, casualty located, occupants taken onboard and craft towed to the safety of Queenborough Hbr. 1635 - 1830. SW 4/5.

ILB Crew paged for launch at 1608 for craft reported in trouble in Stangate Creek, River Medway, launch cancelled at 1611, casualty assisted by other craft.

ILB launched to 20ft Cabin Cruiser broken down and drifting under jetty at Sheerness Docks, 5 persons onboard and dog. Casualty towed clear of jetty and towed to a safe berth in Queenborough Hbr, all persons ok. 1855 - 1957. NW 1.

ALB and ILB both launched to assist Rescue Helicopter 125 in search for overdue Microlight aircraft with one person onboard from Rochester Airport, ALB carried out search of main navigable channel upto St.Mary's Island, whilst the ILB carried out search of the creeks and inlets off the river, serach continued upto loss of daylight, nothing found. 2019 - 2230. Estly 3.

ILB crew paged at 0404 for person in the water off Sheerness, launch cancelled at 0414. Person recovered by Police.

ILB crew paged at 2320 for small rubber dinghy with two persons onboard drifting off Garrison point, launch cancelled at 2322, persons & dinghy recovered by Pilot Cutter.

ILB and ALB both launched to carry out search of foreshore between Grain and Allhallows for two missing 14 year old girls, search joined by rescue 125 and all units searched upto just west of Egypt Bay, nothing found. 0300 - 0535. Sthly 1.

ILB launched to 15ft dayboat aground on mudbank off Elmley, River Swale, 6 persons onboard including two children, ILB closed to within 1/4 of a mile of craft, 2 crew walked across the mud to craft, but decided that mud was too deep to evacuate casualties. Rescue 125 was called, who airlifted casualties to the shore and re-united ILB crew back to ILB. 1700 - 2020. Sthly 2.

ILB crew paged early afternoon for person thought to be in trouble off seafront, launch cancelled.
