2.7.2006 location map		ALB launched whilst at Station Open day to 22ft Motor Cruiser with 2 persons onboard broken down off Warden point, casualty located off Royal Oak point and taken in tow to Queenborough Harbour. 1435 - 1630. Estly 3.
2.7.2006 location map		ILB launched to report of two swimmers in trouble off Sheerness seafront, ILB located swimmers making back towards shore, ILB escorted them to beach. 1524 - 1630. Estly 3.
15.7.2006 location map		ILB launched to 14ft Speedboat drifting off Copperhouse marsh, Rvr Medway with 4 persons onboard, casualty located with outboard failure and towed to Gillingham pier, where it was secured. 1730 - 1920. Estly 3/4.
16.7.2006 location map		ALB and ILB diverted from Helicopter exercise to 10mtr yacht reported to be making water 1 mile South of Southend pier with 3 persons onboard, craft pumped dry and no further ingress of water, casualty went to anchor with 1 Lifeboat crewmember remaining onboard whilst ALB/ILB continued Helio ex, upon completion, ALB returned to casualty & checked yacht, no further ingress of water, leak found to be leaking stern gland which had been repaired, no further assistance required. 1135 - 1410. Estly 3.
16.7.2006 location map		ALB launched to carry out search for 14ft Speedboat with two persons onboard unsure of it's position and stranded on sandbank, Lifeboats from Whitstable, Margate & Walton and also Rescue helicopter 125 also involved in search, casualty was located aground on Maplin Sands approx 3 mls NNE of Blacktail Spit, the 2 occupants were airlifted by helicopter to Southend. 2126 - 2317. Estly 3.
20.7.2006 location map		ILB launched to report of two children cut off by tide on sandbank off the Leas, Minster, upon arrival two girls were sighted upto their necks in the water, both were taken onboard the ILB suffering from the cold, (both were non-swimmers), casualties landed ashore to CG. 1639 - 1747. SW 4/5.
21.7.2006 location map		ILB launched to report of child trapped in the mud off Gillingham, Rvr Medway, ILB was recalled, when it was confirmed that the child had been safely recovered and was safe ashore. 1928 - 2002. SE 2.
23.7.2006		ILB Crew paged at 1416 for report of 2 swimmers in trouble off Minster, launch cancelled at 1418, swimmers being assisted by local Lifeguards.
23.7.2006 location map		ILB launched to 17ft Cabin Cruiser with Outboard failure off Elphinstone Pt, River Medway, 3 persons onboard. Casualty located and towed to slipway at Gillingham Pier. 2129 - 2332. Wstly 2.
26.7.2006 location map		ALB diverted from exercise to report from Dutch Yacht of a swimmer in trouble off Southend pier, casualty was recovered by yacht's crew and then transferred to Southend L/B, Sheerness ALB released to return to station. 2020 - 2130. NE 3.
31.7.2006 location map		ALB launched to 24ft Yacht with two persons onboard at the Maplin Edge buoy, one of the crew unwell, Southend L/B also proceeding, Sheerness ALB arrived on scene and 2 persons and their dog transferred to ALB, they were subsequently landed at Southend pier to CG. ALB then returned to Southend L/B & yacht and assisted in towing the casualty back to Southend. 0256 - 0730. SW 4/5.
31.7.2006 location map		ILB launched to drifting inflatable off Sheerness with two persons onboard, casulties recovered and taken ashore, where they were landed to CG. 1557 - 1630. SW 5/6.
9.8.2006 location map		ALB launched to 24ft Yacht dismasted with 3 persons onboard South of Sea Reach No 2, upon arrival two crew placed onboard and recovered yacht's rigging and made secure, casualty towed to entrance of Hadleigh Ray, where the casualty proceeded under it's own power back to it's mooring. 2126 - 2318. NW 4/5.
13.8.2006 location map		ALB launched to 48ft German Cruiser with two persons onboard, suffered machinery failure and in tow of another German craft, but making little headway, near to Red Sand towers, upon arrival of ALB, casualty had managed to restart their engines and requested Lifeboat escort them to Hbr. Casualty was escorted to Queenborough Harbour. 1927 - 2201. SE 3/4.
20.8.2006 location map		ILB launched to 23ft Yacht aground on mudbank in River Medway after suffering Machinery Failure and broken forestay, 2 persons onboard, ILB crew assisted where possible, craft remained aground and crew happy to remain onboard. 1318 - 1510. Wstly 4/5.
21.8.2006 location map		ILB launched to carry out foreshore search of base of Minster Cliffs for 2 children possibly missing, ILB was recalled when children were found safe and well at top of cliffs. 1625 - 1653. NW 3/4.
21.8.2006 location map		ILB launched to report of child stuck in mud off Gillingham Strand, on route to casualty, it emerged their were 3 youths trapped in mud, ILB arrived on scene and stood by whilst youths managed to make shore under watchful eye of ILB, CG & Fire service. 2007 - 2116. NW 2/3.
22.8.2006 location map		ALB launched to 46ft Trawler Yacht South of Red Sand Towers with broken rudder, 3 persons onboard, casualty located NW of Middle Sand Bn and towed to safety of Queenborough hbr. 0854 - 1155. NW 2/3.
25.8.2006 location map		ALB launched to 8 mtr Motor Cruiser broken down with failed fuel pump, 4 cables North of Bartons Point, 2 persons onboard, casualty located and towed to Queenborough hbr. 1551 - 1725. SE 2/3.
28.8.2006 location map		ALB launched to 10mtr Essex Smack aground on Lappel Bank off Queenborough Hbr, 2 persons onboard, attempts by ALB to tow casualty off were unsuccessful, owner given safety advice for next HW. 2041 - 2127. NW 3.
2.9.2006 location map		ILB launched to 18ft Dayboat with broken fuel line just, East of West Cant buoy, 3 persons onboard, casualty towed to Queenborough Hbr to obtain new parts. 1038 - 1202. SW 4.
2.9.2006 location map		ILB launched to 23ft Yacht aground in entrance to Queenborough Hbr due to adverse weather, with 4 persons onboard, ILB towed casualty clear and towed craft to All Tide landing, but due to conditions, it was decided to place casualty on buoy, 3 persons were landed ashore, casualty secured to buoy with assistance from ILB crew, owner landed ashore. 1609 - 1737. SW 6 gusting 8.
8.9.2006 location map		ALB launched to report of small Yacht drifting between No's 2 & 3 Sea Reach, 23ft yacht located, one person onboard, owner advised that he had drifted into main shipping channel, casualty escorted out of channel and safety advice given. 0440 - 0610. Nthly 3/4.
9.9.2006 location map		ALB launched to 37ft Sea Cadet launch broken down with gearbox failure 1 mile East of Mid cant bn, 4 persons onboard, casualty located and towed to the safety of Queenborough hbr. 1425 - 1626. Estly 4.
11.9.2006 location map		ILB launched to stand by 31ft Fin keel Yacht aground on saltings at Slayhill Marsh, with 3 persons onboard, having run aground on previous HW, ILB stood by until casualty refloated and then assisted in towing casualty clear and escorting it into main navigable channel. 0210 - 0425. SE 1.
12.9.2006 location map		ALB launched to carry out search following report from passing Container ship of a small white flashing light(possibly a lifejacket) in vicinity of SE Mouse buoy, London VTS also detected echo on radar, ALB carried out search and located a small balloon with silver/metallic ribbon which could have been reflecting in moonlight, arae checked, nothing else untoward. 0400 - 0633. Var 1.
15.9.2006		ILB crew paged at 1612 following report of Kite Surfer in trouble off Minster, however the launch was cancelled at 1616, person made shore unaided.
16.9.2006 location map		ILB launched to carry out search following report of man seen entering the sea off Sheerness, ILB carried out search along with Rescue Helicopter 125 & CG, after two hours searching, nothing was found. 0633 - 0912. Nthly 2.
23.9.2006 location map		ILB launched to 7mtr Powerboat broken down off Bartons Point with 5 persons onboard, ILB towed casualty to shingle bank slipway and assisted occupants in recoveing their craft onto trailer. 1440 - 1545. Estly 3.
5.10.2006 location map		ILB launched to Two Sailboarders in difficulties off Minster Leas, both casualties were safely recovered with their rigs and landed ashore to CG, no medical attention required, 1600 - 1708. SW 5/6. (First launch for new IB 1)
7.10.2006 location map		ILB launched to 14ft dayboat reported aground near Darnettness, River Medway, 3 persons onboard including a 6yr old child, no comms, only mobile phone, ILB located casualty on Hoo mudflats approx 2.5 cables from No 23 lightbuoy, but due to it being L.W, ILB unable to close, after CG contacted craft, it was decided that ILB would return later that evening on flood tide. 1959 - 2110. SW 2.
7.10.2006 location map		ILB launched to dayboat aground on Hoo mudflats, upon arrival of ILB, casualty now afloat with outboard running, ILB escorted casualty into deeper water, where it transferred a crew member and two of the casualties occupants, the ILB escorted the casualty to the safety of Gillingham marina. 2237 - 0031. SW 2/3
8.10.2006 location map location map		ILB launched to report of Yacht aground on Burntwick island, River Medway, ILB located casualty with 1 occupant, unable to refloat casualty at this time, crew layed out anchor and checked craft for damage. ILB came across 2nd yacht also aground on Island, only 1 occupant, ILB crew checked craft for damage and layed out anchor, before returning to station. 1430 - 1613. SW 3.
9.10.2006 location map location map		ILB launched to the Two yachts aground on Burntwick Island, ILB stood by 1st yacht until there was suffient water to refloat the craft and tow her into deeper water, once in main channel, the craft proceeded to Queenborough hbr under her own power. ILB returned to 2nd yacht, but after several attempts was unable to refloat the craft, yacht made secure and occupant taken off, where he was landed at Queenborough Harbour. 0042 - 0402. SW 3/4.
8.11.2006 location map		ILB launched to assist in search for missing 40 yr old male in West Swale, ILB carried out search of banks and creeks along with Whitstable L/B and Coastguard, nothing untoward found. 1240 - 1530. SW 3/4.
14.11.2006 location map		ALB launched to fire onboard Warship HMS Illustrious on Greenwich ship moorings, ALB to provide safety cover in case of evacuation, ALB was stood down when it was confirmed that fire had been brought under control by ships company. 1800 - 1850. SW 4/5.
19.11.2006 location map		ILb launched to Sailboarder in difficulties off Minster Leas, casualty reported to have been on his board for some time and suffering from exhaustion, casualty recovered and landed ashore to CG, no medical attention req'd. 1453 - 1547. SW 4/5.
25.11.2006		ILB Crew paged at 1317 to report of Kayaker in trouble off Minster, launch was cancelled as crew were mustering.
30.11.2006 location map		ILB launched to 23ft motorboat with 2 persons onboard, broken down in entrance off Sharfleet creek, Rvr Medway, casualty located and towed to Queenborough hbr. 1957 - 2145. Sthly 3 gusting 6.
1.12.2006 location map		ILB launched to assist Police with person possibly missing in vicinity off Sun Pier, Rochester, person was located by Police and ILB released. 2235 - 0050. WSW 3.
3.12.2006 location map		ILB launched to report of Red Flare sighted on a bearing of 245 degrees from Garrison Point, ILB carried out search of Lower reaches of River Medway, nothing found, ILB released due to deterioration in weather conditions. 0136 - 0340. SW 6 gusting 8.
20.12.2006 location map		ILB launched to report of upturned craft near Kingsferry Bridge, River Swale, ILB located dinghy and bags from craft, search was joined by Local Port workboat and Sheerness ALB, search carried out, it was later discovered by the CG, that the craft had capsized earlier in day and all it's occupants were safe, ILB 1720 - 1943, ALB 1755 - 1943. NW 1.
24.12.2006 location map		ALB launched to 65ft Ex-German Torpedo recovery launch, with two persons onboard, with steering failure and reported to be making water, casualty on passage from Faversham to the River Humber, casualty lost generator overboard and lost communications, position given as near the Red Sand towers but on route to casualty this was updated to near the Spaniard buoy, casualty fired a red flare to identify position, casualty located and was towed to the safety of Queenborough Hbr. Both the occupants were landed ashore at Sheerness. 2015 - 0030. Estly 3/4.
