Do you have the strength of character and commitment it takes to be a Lifeboat Crew member ?
Are you looking for an exciting challenge ?
Do you live or work locally to Sheerness ?
Can you give up at least one evening or a Sunday morning every week for training ?
If you answered yes to these questions, you could be just the person we are looking for. |
You will need to have a medical and eyesight examination before starting, but once this is done you will be given all the training you need to make you a competent crew member of one of the Lifeboats at Sheerness, the station is one of the busiest in Kent, you must live or work within 3 miles of the station, if you don't think you are up to the challenge, then you can always become a shore helper.
Alternatively, the Fundraising Branch are always looking for new members to assist them in their fund raising, either by joining the Branch or helping out on the odd occasions, these people behind the scenes are the stalwarts of the Institution in raising funds.
The RNLI is supported entirely by voluntary contributions
